The Parallel Landscape photo series documents a number of trips around the UK in search the past, present and future of military training and defence. The photographs provides evidence for a written PhD undertaken at the Royal College of Art entitled Parallel Landscapes: A spatial and critical study of militarised sites in the United Kingdom

The following images were taking during a visit to RAF Neatishead and RAF Trimingham in Norfolk, which houses a TPS-77 radar. The distinctive radome covering can be seen from miles around and is a critical node in the British Air Surveillance and Control System (ASACS), an early warning radar network used to anticipate incursions into British airspace.
